They are from the Himalayan Mountains. The Black is the original variety, with blues coming out next. Ron Smelt of California is who created both the Chocolates and Lilacs. Markings: The Himalayan calls their markings “points”. 41 points of the Himalayan are put on their points. Their points include the head; ears; front feet and legs; hind feet and legs; tail.
