Filling Out Show Entries
For filling out your entry, normally the show catalog has an entry blank for you to fill out.
If they don’t then fill out the following on a piece of paper. Remember to keep it neat, if
the secretary can’t read something you will be called collect for them to get the right
information. You want to make sure to include your name, address (for mailing out legs
and show statements), phone number (incase they need to ask you a question about your
entry), then for each rabbit you enter, include their tattoo number (the number in their left ear, if they don’t have one yet, there should be a tattooer at the show), breed, variety
(color), sex (remember to put buck [male] or doe [female], and age (whether they're a
junior, under 6 months old, or senior, over 6 months old, if it’s a larger breed that their
ideal weight is over 10 pounds, between 6-8 months of age they will be an Intermediate,
then at 8 months and older they become a senior). If you want to be in the youth show,
make sure that you have it marked clearly saying "Youth Show". If you want in a
particular open show, make sure to put “Show A” or “Show B”. Make sure to have a
separate entry for each show you’re entering in.
If you're snail mailing it, make sure to include the money for your entry. Rabbit entries
run between $2.00-$3.00 per rabbit, mattering on the club putting on the show.
