2002 Fishing Aboard the 'Pair Of Aces'

Like last year, pre-season catch and release is hot!! Julie and I got out before the season and caught 9 rock fish in a couple of hours, all over 30"!

Finally got Karl and Karen out, we had an exceptional day, catching our limit in about an hour, then releasing a few more. We even had time to go across the bay for lunch!

Rob K, holding the big fish here, was in from Seattle, and he caught the big fish for the day! Crabs at Abner's were great!!

Rich has made it out with me, we didn't catch any big ones, but had some good action!

Mack, Ellen, and Darlene had a blast catching some nice rock. Darlene had the biggest, a fat 36"er!

Early August, an ordinary trip turned into something special when we hit these Huge Red drum while trolling on the Stone Rock ,we hung 5 or 6, all at the same time, and boated 3 of these beauties!! These are the 1st Red Drum I have ever caught in the bay!

Well, we are still fishing late into November!! Here, Rich and I went trolling for a while, catching fish up to 30", then we went jigging in the Choptank, catching fish up to 23". Real nice day!!

Sunday, December 8th - perfectly calm day, Alex and Ashley joined me for a short afternoon trip. We found birds, and small rock and perch underneath them. Alex wanted a picture of the smallest rock he has ever caught! The other fish he is holding is a perch. Both kids caught their share of fish!
