Los Cabos, Mexico - Fishing for Marlin, Tuna, Dolphin!
In 2001, Julie and I accompanied my customer to Cabo, where we went on this trip, greeted by the famous arch on the way out. |
Steve Pennington Hooked up with a nice striped blue marlin, boating him after a 30 minute battle |
Right before it was time to come in, a huge fish hit one of the lures. It didn't take it, so the mate threw over a line with a live bait fish attached, and WHAM!! The marlin hit that fish, and the fight was on!! Here is Ellen fighting hard! |
This is a little better picture of Ellen's marlin, in the boat! |
In 2004 I returned to Cabo looking to catch my 1st marlin ever. The captain put us on some tuna early, here I am holding a nice one. |
We boated 3 tuna, then went looking for marlin. Soon after, I was hooked up! |
Success!! Here is my 7 foot Striped Blue Marlin! |
We had a great trip this year, here I am with Marc and Craig, showing off our tuna! |
The fishing was so good in 2004, we made a return trip in 2005. Here is Jim with our 1st hook up, a big dolphin! |
|
I was 2nd in the chair, fighting another big dolphin! |
Next up, Marc! Here he is hamming it up for the camera! This dolpin was the biggest of the day, over 35 pounds! We never got a 4th bite for Craig to have a chance, but we had a great time none the less! |
