Hi, you have the pleasure to enter Danne's homepage. At this site you can read about me, my interests, some Korea facts, how to do if you want to study in Korea, read about my Korea journeys, and see some photos. I'm a 41 years old Swedish KAD (Korean Adoptee). I was adopted through Child Placement Service, nowadays known as Social Welfare Society (SWS) the adoption agency in Korea. I was among the first children adopted from Korea to Sweden. I came to Sweden in November 1967.

I don't know my exact age, because I was found outside a police station in Suwon city the 24th of April 1966. I had no name tag or note about my identity at all, so I don't know who I really am. Sometimes it feels very strange to not know anything about my back ground history, but usually I don't think about it.

When I was a child I wanted to be Swedish, but as a young adult I wanted to be Korean. But now I know that I can only be myself-a KAD. I'm like a banana; yellow on the outside and white on the inside, and I'm damn proud of it!!! That''s me in a nutshell.
