This is Max. He was my best friend in the whole wide world.I got Max when we moved here to Ohio. He helped me to not get homesick.He was at the APL where my sister-in-law worked at the time. He was really sick and they were going to put him to sleep then. That was in 1989. She called me and I told her" Don't let them touch him I will be right there to get him",and I did.They say he could of been anywhere between 1 and 5 years old then! It was the best thing I did. He was a great cat from the begining.I have owned many many cats over my lifetime but never have I had a cat so sweet.When I was feeling low he would come sit on my lap and paw at me till I payed attention to him.He was a silly cat. When I went to bed he was right there waiting for me to get under the covers. He would either lay between my legs or if I was on my side he would put his head on the pillow right next to mine. Well ya know I had to brake that habit cuz ya see I am allergic to animals. LOL.So he went from the pillow to right by my belly. If I happen to be on my belly he would sleep right in the middle of my back. Let me tell you! Before he got sick he was a fat, heavy cat!Where ever I was he was! Even when I took a bath he was right there. He would sit on the side of the tub and paw at the bubbles. He was sooooo funny.He didn't mind the water at all. When he was younger he would bring me home all kinds of Little critters. But...He would bring them home alive! Ewwwwww!!!!!!! As far as I know he never killed a living thing.Max was my Friend,pillow,feet and lap warmer,crying board,laughing board,yelling board and he would just sit where he was and listen to me.I will Miss him sooo very much.
