The Dallas Library has a book called Old Cemeteries of Dallas County compiled by Willie Flowers Carlisle, Dallas 1948, R929.37642, C.2830 in both their Genealogy and Texas Collections. I have listed the cemeteries named therein and noted a few comments, however, each of these cemeteries contains a list of graves, though many are not complete lists. I do not have this book, just looked at it, though the librarian in the Texas Section on the 7th floor may be able to help you - 214-670-1700. | Stadden Cemetery | Geller Rd | Wilmer, TX | Per Kyle Farris, from Beltline go south about 1/2 mile south. The cemetery is about 200 yards to the east of the road just past the second house (on Mr. Hilton's property). If you've see a feed store you've gone too far. It is overgrown with brush and briar. A lot of the Markers are not standing and covered by about 3 inches of leaves. Map |
