Maha and Tsukasa were seen together and that why the Scarlet Knight is looking for Tsukasa so they can find Maha thinking him to be an illegal Player. He also has the same abilities that Tsukasa has. During the series he talks to Tsukasa but we do not get to hear his voice or what he says in both the American and Japanese version. We do get to hear somewhat of the conversation by what Tsukasa repeats

Class: Blade Master
He care for Subaru and does worry when she not with the Scarlet Knights. He doesn't visit often but when he does it to make sure Subaru is happy and safe. He is one of the few characters that can take on an infected monster and walk away from it with out his character dieing. He is a very high level character and I would guess he already max out on leveling which would make his level 99 character but that is my opinion. If I am not mistaken he is the same Balmung of the Azures Sky in the .hack game and Balmung the system administer in ".Hack// Legend of the Twilight Bracelet". He dislike working with hacker and won’t and he dislike Helba since she is a hacker

Helba she a professional hacker and a legend in her circle she also appear in .Hack// game. Helba know a lot of what going on and what to see what happen. As Bear said "It better to have her watching are back then being in the front lines" as we see she seem to lead the group to place that push the story along. So they can find "The Key Twilight." Aura a very unique character and one that appear in all of Project .Hack//. She is connect to Tsukasa as we see when they get close to each other he begin to remember more of him self.
