I was born on a hot, sunny day in the Philippines, back before the People's Revolution. We had a Volkswagon bug, I had a yaya (nanny), and life was fine. I was studying Computer Science at AMA Computer College in Makati and my ate (sister) was studying to be a dentist.
Then one day, we decided to visit our parents in America, and fell in love with the country. Sure there was a lot of pollution, crime, squallor, and spiritual poverty, but other than that, it seemed like the perfect country.
I started working at UCSF, and really liked my boss. Then I went ballroom dancing & met my future husband. Several years ago our first daughter moved in. She's very beautiful, and quite talkative. Thanks to everyone who made her 5th birthday so special! She can't decide whether to become a movie star or a tennis star. Another one moved in near the end of the millenium. Hopefully there won't be too many more moving in, as we are running out of rooms.
