The 4th single from the hit album "Life Goes On" was "Colour the World" introducing one of the most famous collaborators so far: the Swedish dentist rapper: Dr. Alban!
Most fans of Sash! speaks of "Colour the World" as the "worst single success so far". But this is not really the truth, since it actually did really well in Germany and the Benelux, where it did better than many other of the Sash! releases. Top 40 positions in Germany and Switzerland (although it fell quite heavyily the 2nd week of release) and almost a top 20 position in Belgium, where Sash! seems to have harder and harder times for every year that goes.
The #15 position in United Kingdom is the lowest to date for Sash!, and that says a bit of the amount of success this group have had in the U.K... The #54 position in Sweden was the 7th straight entry in the Swedish top 60, that streak continued until "Ganbareh" missed the top 60, but 10 straight entries in the Swedish single chart is a massive performance in a country where boybands are most popular...
The video was directed by the Finnish director Antti "A1" Jokinen and was a beautiful piece of work shot among the iceblocks in Iceland.
The video may very well have helped this single to perform, as it was a decent success on eg. MTV.
After the smash hits "La Primavera", "Mysterious Times" and the hit "Move Mania" so did "Colour the World" perform weaker, but on the other hand so was it the 4th single from the highly successful 2nd album "Lífe Goes On" and it introduced a very different "Affro sound". Some people do however think that "Colour the World" is the best single so far or at least one of the best.
