Backyard Underwater Treasures, a poor man's way to have fun.
I started diving several years ago.  It became such a thrill that I have devoted most of my spare time to it.  Besides wreck and cave diving I like to find and recover items people lose in the water.  I have found items from Diamond rings, false teeth in local rivers and lakes, to broken dredgeheads in gravel pits.  Each find is a different adventure and makes for a good story.  Check out my photopages. For each photo I have a story that I have published locally in the "Sportsmen of St. Tammany" monthly magazine.  If you are interested in reading any or all of them email me and I will send them to you.  I can't seem to find a way to put them on this site so I'll send them to anyone who wants to read them.  They're short and fun to read.  You'll soon find there is almost nowhere I won't dive, no weather (except lightning) that I won't work in, nor and time of day that will keep me from diving.  Being in the water is great.  Being able to see is just Lagniappe. That's "something extra" to those of you who aren't from south Louisiana.  Anyhow I hope you find this site interesting and fun to look at.  Enjoy, Mark
