In the beginning there were dinosaurs...
In the beginning there were biscuits...

Introduction

Hello there! This site is more than just a sanctuary for biscuit lovers; there are enough of those sorts of sites already. It's also more than just a shrine to dinosaurs, indeed, the number of such sites almost exceeds the number of biscuit websites. If either of those two tickle your fancy, then why not seek out the numerous books, toys, movies, computer games, toys, movies, museums, toys, books and toys, with which you can produce your own dinosaur or biscuit shrine? No, this site is neither. It is unique. This site is at the forefront of scientific thought and combines two important facets of everyday life. Of course, this is just an opinion: come and see for yourself…

Explanation

This is a site devoted to 'dinosaurs and their biscuits'. Every good vertebrate palaeontologist today knows that dinosaurs had a taste for biscuits. In fact, 100% of the dinosaur's diet was biscuits. As a challenge to palaeontological dogma, this may at first sound amazing but the evidence is undeniable as shall soon be revealed. It is also now a known fact that dinosaurs did not eat biscuits randomly, a custard cream here or a hob-nob there. They were picky; if a dinosaur didn't have its preferred teatime snack it would undoubtedly go ape. It is now known throughout the reliable scientific community that there was more to dinosaur-biscuit links than just preference, they became necessities. With time, the dinosaurs evolved to be dependant upon particular biscuits, a factor, which although at first highly advantageous, eventually led to the demise of a large number of dinosaurian clades. Only now in this age of cutting-edge discovery and open minded enthusiasm are these prehistoric facts coming to light.

The Evidence

* Both dinosaurs and their biscuits are found abundantly in layers of rock of the same age, over thousands of years old! The famous Rich Tea Formation of Macaroon town, Morocco and the less well known Jammie Dodger beds of Mcvitieville, France, serve as perfect examples of such strata.

* Particular dinosaur genera and specific biscuits are always found in association with each other, often together in death assemblages. One Iguanodon specimen from the Isle Of Wight, UK is fossilised with a bourbon biscuit in its hand. A herd of Euoplocephalus are fossilised surrounding the remains of a choc-chip cookie. Perhaps the cookie lured the herd into a bog or the dinosaurs died in the fight for the single goodie.

* The teeth of every dinosaur is clearly designed for thier unique diet. In fact the teeth of specific genera are so well adapted that even if they decided to eat anything other than their associated biscuit they would be unable to cope. It would be like feeding a giraffe a toffee apple or gravel to a monkey.

* The resemblance between biscuit and dinosaur is in some cases uncanny. I once mistook my 'Jurassic Park' Stegosaurus toy for a pink wafer. Imagine my surprise as I realised after two tasty bites that it was plastic and not a biscuit at all!

* Very rare finds overshadow any further doubts. These include biscuit packets unearthed from Jurassic sediments as well as dinosaur artwork, still preserved on prehistoric papyrus See the NEWS page

* Similar links can be found elsewhere in the fossil record. Both the pterosaurs and marine reptiles of long ago show associations with various teatime treats and sweet snacks.
