Dragon Beginning
As you've read in the history section, The Etassi dragons are the souls of three old Adoption Agencies mingled together. They have the traits of the old Random Access Dragons (The very first growing dragon adoption). For one the males have inverted versions of the RA dragon’s spikes. Another thing they have in common is that the Light and Dark type Etassi are equivalent to the Black and White RA dragons--more on the dragon types later. The second trait comes from SpiritCat's old adoption center, most prominently seen in the hatchlings. Then of course, the final is from Dana's old adoption agency Felicity's Cave, since she was the one to rekindle the dragon's flame.

Gender Differences
Males - Thick and muscular with sharp claws. Spikey scales cover their complete underbody to the tip of the tail, which they use as a defense when threatened. They can be very deadly if provoked, but are generally very gentle and proud creatures.
Females - Sleek and graceful beauties. They have no claws and their scaling is very smooth and rounded, leaving them very vulnerable to attacks. Because of this reason they were blessed with wings so they could flee their enemies.

Dragon Types
Now that you know the basis for the Etassi species you can learn about the various types within their race. There are six basic types in all, which are as follows:

Water: The water type of Etassi is very agile by nature, being built in a streamline manner. Obviously they love to swim in any sort of water body whether it is a spring, river or an ocean.

Fire: The fire type of Etassi are usually quite physically powerful. They're very good at lifting objects much heavier then themselves. They don't do too well in cold conditions since they need heat to sustain them.

Air: The air type of Etassi are the most intelligent of the dragons, they're usually very wise.

Earth: The Earth type of Etassi are very in tune with nature, and can usually predict when some kind of natural disaster will occur.

Dark: The Dark type of Etassi are usually very cunning and resourceful. Dark Etassi are always black in coloring, with their scales being any possible color from the spectrum.

Light: The light type of Etassi are usually very empathetic, and are adept at reading others emotions. Sometimes they even have minor healing powers. They are always white, with their scales and wings being any possible color.

Now, there are also many other types that come about when two dragons of different types mate. This occurrence is rare though and there is only one case of it in each clutch. For example if a Water and Air type dragon were to mate, one of their children may be a "Seafoam" type dragon. The possibilities are endless, and you never know what types of dragons may come about!

Etassi Names
All Etassi eggs are named as soon as they are layed. Their name directly effects their coloring, and goes along with their type. The name is in 2 parts, the first being a color or adjective, and the next being a noun. A good example would be my Etassi, Cerulean Raindrop. She is a water Etassi, and is therefore cerulean in color because of her name. You can not name your Etassi.

Dragon Growth
The Etassi dragons go through five stages of growth. Egg, Hatchling, Dragonet, Teen, and Adult. Each stage requires different kinds of care.

Egg: An Etassi Dragon egg must be kept warm if it is to hatch. They were born from a fire, after all.

Hatchling: When a dragon first hatches, they're very demanding and require a lot of attention. They must have a toy to keep them amused as well as 2 servings of food.

Dragonet: Dragonets are very playful and mischievous. They love to play with other dragons their age, and this is when most dragons begin to socialize and gain friendships.

Teen: Once a dragon is a teen they start to court a potential mate. They also need more food. (4 servings)

Adult: Once a dragon is an adult they may choose their mate and begin laying clutches. They also need more food. (6 servings)

When an Etassi Dragon clutches, they usually have anywhere between 1-4 eggs depending on how well the mating flight went. Another rarity among the dragon kind are twins. They come around every 3-5 mating flights and are extremely rare.
