THE PEOPLES BANDIT
PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER ONE
Pretty Boy Floyd was next in line on the FBI's most wanted list after John Dillinger's death. He was condemned to death for his involvement in the Kansas City Massacre. A crime in which he was completely innocent. To date, there is no evidence that proves he was involved in the massacre, yet he would be shot down by the FBI for this crime. Floyd was no punk, he stood up for what he thought was right. He was known for helping those in need, which made him one of the most admired outlaws of his time. His wife, Rudy Hardgraves described him a man who would repay you a thousand times for showing him kindness. Learn more in "Dillinger, The Hidden Truth."

Regarding the shooting of Erv A.kelley, former Oklahoma Sheriff on April 9, 1934, during an attempt to kill Pretty Boy Floyd, as told to Vivian Brown.

" Erv Kelley nearly got me. There was only one thing to do. It was either him of me, so I let him have it. He had the same idea, I guess. We fired at the same time. I never saw Kelley until he was falling. I fired five shots...and four of his shots hit me, one hitting me in the right hip and luckily striking a gun. The handle made quite a sore place on my hip and the bullet bent the gun but it did not hit me."                                                                                     .......
