Nicole "Nikki" Dillard

Renaissance Woman

Hello to everyone! My name is Nicole Dillard, but my friends call me Nikki. At the moment I'm trying to adjust to being called "Nicole" more often to prepare myself for the business world. It's not easy, but it's a sacrifice I have to make!

In that past, I'd hoped to become the "Renaissance Woman" of the 21st century by working as many different jobs as I could in my lifetime. Over the past few years, I've performed many tasks, from dishwashing to cooking to waitressing for the Custer State Park Resort Company, in Custer, South Dakota. In my last year of school, I decided to take it easy, and simply enjoy my third year working as a part of the illustrious staff at UMM's Computing Services, as a computer consultant and operator AND my first year at the school's Information Center. In the past, I'd even worked at Pizza Hut as a Pizza Delivery Driver!! I liked it, and it was different from anything else I'd ever done, so I learned yet another skill. One day I hope to paint houses, manage a small deli, and teach skydiving as well!
I spent some time working as a Production Assistant for our local NBC affiliate station KARE 11, one of Minnesota's premier televison news stations. I also landed a position in radio broadcasting at WRNB Cable Radio/Black Music America as the Assistant PD, and Special Assistant to the CEO. Through that position, I learned a great amount of how radio actually works.
I also learned that t.v. and radio weren't for me, so I landed at Target Corp. I currently work as a Team Lead for the downtown Minneapolis store.
