Episode 40: Enter the Dark Masters
Back in the Digiworld, at the top of Spiral Mountain, four Mega digimon watch as the the 8 Digidestined return to the Digiworld, they are Piemon, a phantom digimon, Machinedramon, a machine digimon, Metal Seadramon, a water digimon and Puppetmon, basically a puppet digimon! Outside of Spiral Mountain, the eight Digidestined and their digimon land in a feild. As they begin to gather themsleves, Joe nearly fall off a nearby cliff after beging scared by some rustling bushes. From the bushes emerges Chuumon, the mouse digimon Mimi met near the Centarumon's Temple. Mimi asks Chuumon where Sukamon (his best buddy) is and Chuumon tells the group of not only how he had lost Sukamon, but how the Dark Masters remade the Digiworld so that it would be easier to take over. That is why Joe almost killed himslef, the Digiworld was falling apart! Because they defeated Venom Myostismon, a Mega Digimon the eight Digidestined belive that they are able to to take on any digimon. While hiking towards Spiral Mountian, the kids are assulted by Metal Seadramon. All of the digimon digivolve to their champion states, yet it is still not enough to defeat him. Metal Seadramon uses is River of Power (?) attack to send the 8 Digidestined, their digimon and Chuumon into a casm. When they land, Machinedramon appears. All of the digimon (except Angemon) digivolve into their Ultamate stage, and yet this is still not enough to defeat Machinedramon. He uses his attack not only to weaken the digimon but to create a hole in the ground. The eight Digidestined, their digimon and Chuumon fall down the hole until they are stoped by some mysterious force. Garudamon and Were Garurumon begin to fight each other, and Sora and Joe begin to move uncontrollably. Izzy discovers that they reason they stopped falling and why eveyon is acting under some strange force is that they are attached to puppet strings, Puppetmon's strings! Puppetmon detaches the 8 kids and uses his Puppet Pummel on the their digimon. After all of the Pummeling, the kids and digimon are tossed to what looks like a roman amphitheater. An odd clown appears telling the story of the the Digidestined's demise. Tai begins to get angry at this and the clown reveals himself to be Piemon! Tai and Matt are able to get Agumon and Gabumon (who dedigivolved after being Puppet Pummeled) to morph digivolve to War Graymon and Metal Garurumon. But because Piemon has been in his Mega Stage longer than War Graymon and Metal Garurumon, he is able to defeat them easily. After his victory, Piemon introduces the other Dark Masters whom which the Digidestined had already met. Mimi gets upset and begins to whine that she wished she had never gone to summer camp. Piemon cannot stand Mimi's whineing and shoots a knife at her. Chuumon dodges in front of the knife, protecting Mimi. Before anything else can happen, the kids are saved by Pixiemon's Pixie bomb. He uses his camoflauge powers to help the kids escape. However the Dark Masters are able to find Pixiemon and the kids. Pixiemon sacrafices himslef for the kids, and sends them away while he faces the Dark Masters alone.
