Episode 39: The Battle for Earth
After Matt and Tai are shot by Angemon's and Angewomon's arrows of Hope and Light a miricle happens: Agumon morph-digivolves to War Graymon, his Meag Form, and Gabumon morph-digivolves to Metal Garurumon, his Mega Form. The two Mega digimon waste no time in trying to take out Venom Myotismon. They are able to kock Myotismon down, and they are able to temorpaily stun them but it is still not enough. Joe, Sora, and Mimi enter the fight too with Ikkakumon, Birdramon, and Togemon. TK and Kari continue to fight with Angemon and Angewomon, and Izzy get's Kabuterimon into the fight as well. War Graymon commands that they all strike at once and each digimon uses their various attack, even Metal Garurumon uses his Metal Wolf Claw attack. War Graymon finishes things up by using is Mega Claw to bore a hole through Venom Myotismon's center. But this is not the end of Venom Myotismon, they have only unleashed the Beast within as a miniature (and punier) verson of Myotison emerges from the hole. One by one each of the Digidestined begin to loose hope, except for Tai who says he will never give up. Suddenly all of the Digidestined's crest begin to glow and form ropes of light to hold Venom Myotismon at bay. Metal Garurumon uses a globe from the TV station to stun Venom Myotismon while War Graymon uses his most powerfull attack: Tera Force which takes care of Venmon Myotismon once and for all! Back at the convention center, all of the familes begin to emerge from their trance. Tai and Koromon, and Matt and Tsunomon begin to celebrate, and Mimi finds out that Gatomon has returned to her rookie form Salamon. Sora also notices someing... in the sky! An upside-down floating island! They wonder if Myotismon has been fully destroyed. Tsunomon and Koromon know that he is really gone becase in the words of Koromon "They kicked booty!" The island in the sky cannot be detected by radar or satalite, but after a scout airplane truns to ice when getting to close, the entire earth which can see the floating island, knows that the phenomon is real. While observing the island Izzy notices a familliar sight: Infinity Mountain. Tai uses his telescope to try and find the mountain too but instead he sees a passanger jet that has gotten to close to the island. Birdramon and Kabuterimon go to save the air craft. Kabuterimon sees Kuwagumon fly past but he is unable to strike him with his Electro Shocker! Birdramon must digivolve to Garudamon to save the plane, and informs Kabuterimon that he will turn to ice if he touches Kuwagumon. Izzy finally conclueds with the appearece of Kuwagumon (and other digimon on the news) that the Island in the sky is File Island in the digiworld. But becase the two months they spent in the digiworld only equaled a few hours in the real world, years must of passed in the digiworld, allowing the evil there to grow. Tai decides that they all must retrun to the digiworld to save both worlds. Each digidestined stick out their digivce and a pathway of light appears as a guide-line for the digidestined back to the real world. As they step inside and are returned to the Digi World, they all say good-bye to their parents as they zoom towards the island in the sky towards an unknown danger
