Episode 22: Forget About It!
Tai and Agumon have just landed in the Digi World, only to discover that the other DigiDestined are not where Tai and Agumon left them, just a few hours ago. By using his digivice as a homing device, Tai is able to pick up the location of a nearby digivice. When Tai and Agumon find the digivice, they also find TK's crest, Tokomon, but no TK. Tokomon is gald to see Tai after he had been gone for "so long". Tai asks how long had he been gone and Tokomon tells Tai his story:
Days after Tai had disapeared, the others started coming up with their own ideas to find Tai and one by one they each left the group to find Tai their own way until Matt, Gabumon, TK, and Tokomon were left. Matt found an amusement park for TK to amuse himself in while he looked for Tai. After a week had passed, TK belived that Matt was never coming back, like the others. A new digimon named DemiDevimon appeared and told TK that Matt had called him a cry-baby and that he was never coming back. Tokomon became angry with DemiDevimon's lying and tried to attack him. TK who had belived DemiDevimon became disapointed in Tokomon, got in an argument resulting in TK tossing his digivice and crest away, and running away with DemiDevimon to the amusement park.
Tai was convinced that he was the link that kept eveyone together, and Tokomon leads him and Agumon into the amusemet park to find TK. They find him at a lunch table asleep, but he wakes up to the sound of Tai's voice. When seeing Tokomon, TK and Tokomon get in another fight resulting in TK wanted Tai as his brother, not Matt because TK points out how Matt gets jelous when he and TK to things together. Humoring TK, Tai agrees to be TK's brother until they find Matt. Just as they are leaving Tai, Agumon, TK, and Tokomon are confronted by DemiDevimon who asks they to wait while he finds food for them. Tai doen't think DemiDevimon is the most trust-worthy digimon, but he was hungry likewise. While looking for food, DemiDevimon spots two of Etemon's Gazimon flunkys in a patch of mushrooms. DemiDevimon belives that these are the Mushrooms of Forgetfullness, and when he asks the two Gazimon about Etemon, they don't even remember who they are! Convinced that these are the 'shrooms of Forgetfullness, DemiDevimon presents Tai, Agumon, TK, and Tokomon a basket of the 'shrooms. Tai and TK begin to warm the 'shrooms, while Agumon uses "the little digimon's room". Out side of the bathroom, Agumon sees a patch of the same 'shrooms, and just as he is about to eat one, he hears a familliar voice that tells him that he is about to eat a 'shroom of forgetfullness. Agumon throws down the 'shroom, and warns TK and Tai not to eat the 'shooms, and that DemiDevimon had lied to them. Before DemiDevimon can fly away, Tokomon digivolves to Patamon, and in an intense arial battle Patamon sends DemiDevimon into the horizon. TK forgives Patamon, and TK, Patamon, Tai and Agumon set off to find the others...
