Episode 21: Home Away From Home
After defeating Etemon, Tai and Metal Graymon (now Koromon) were sucked into a portal that has lead them into the real world. Tai asks a small girl is this really earth, and she begins to cry. Koromon gets scared and Tai carries him off before the park police arrive. Tai finally belives that he is turely home and he heads for his apartment. At his apartment, he doesn't see his mom, dad, or sister so he heads for the frige for a snack. While sharing a Coke with Koromon he sees on the refrigorator the calandar reads August 1st, the same day he arrived in Digiworld, proving Izzy's theroy right, there is a Tai in the real and Digi world! Just then Tai's sisiter, Kari, enters the kitchen saying hi to Koromon. Tai is freaked out and wonders why Kari knows Koromon, and she says he came from Digiworld, near Tai's camp. Tai begins to think that Kari has been to the Digiworld in the future but came back like he did, before he did. Of course, Tai confuses himself, and forgets the whole consept and fixes breakfast. After breakfast, Tai relaxes for a bit and turns on the TV. The annoucer begins to talk about freak weather patters as flashes of Meremon in a heatwave, Seadramon in a typhoon, and Frigimon in a snowstorm appear on the screen. Kari says she could always see the digimon, but no one belived her. Suddenly Tai's digivice goes off and the family computer snaps on. On the computer screen Izzy tells Tai not to return to Digiworld, that they are in too much danger. Tai now wants to return to digiworld, but he doen't know how, so he takes a nap, while Kari and Koromon share watermelon. After Tai wakes up from his nap, he finds Kari talking to their mom. Tai's Mom says that they will return home later than expected because of a snow strom. Tai is desperate to fix the links between the real world and the Digiworld. Suddenly the ground begins to shake. Tai goes out on the balcony and sees Tyrannomon appear. Tyrannomon shots a fireball at a nearby brige, and disapears again. Tai runs outside with Koromon, with Kari not to far behind and spots Moncromon appear and disapear, like Tyrannomon. Kari catches up with Tai, and Tai tells her to go back home. Koromon points out Ogremon across the street, and Tai and Kari see him but the other people do not. Ogremon leaps across the street and tries to Pummel Wack Koromon but he leads Ogremon away from Tai and Kari. Koromon tires to digivolve but he can't. After Koromon is knocked from a building Tai's digivice begins to glow and a portal to the digiworld opens. Koromon digivolves to Agumon and with one Pepper Breath he sends Ogremon back to the digiworld. Agumon too begins to drift into the portal and Tai wants to go too, but Kari holds him back. Tai expains that Agumon needs him and Kari reluctantly lest Tai go back to digiworld. Tai and Agumon begin to searc for the others while back at Tai's apartment though an eighth digivce has appeared...
