Episode 20: The Earthquake of Metal Graymon
Tai, Matt, Mimi, and Joe are around a fire discussing ways to save Sora from Datamon, while TK chats with the other digimon, and Izzy works at his computer. Suddenly Izzy finds a secret passage where Datamon took Sora, but to get there it means crossing an eletrified wall. It was because of the eletrified wall the Tai was to afraid to get Sora. Tai promises that he'll cross anything to find Sora. Inside the Pyramid, Sora awakens to see that she has been straped down to a table, and Biyomon hangs uncontions on a wall. Datamon explains to her that with ther Digivice, Tag, and Crest, he will be able to controll Biyomon. Sora does not belive Datamon. He explains to her that he'll make a copy of Sora, that will obey him, and Biyomon will obey his copy of Sora! An orange beam passes over Sora as the copying process begins. The next morning the Tai sees that the Pyramid is much more heavly gaurded. Tai plans to rescue Sora with Izzy, while Joe, Ikkakumon, Matt, and Garurmon create a diversion. With one Harpoon Torpedo blast all of the gaurds around the Pyramid begin to go after Joe, Ikkakumon Matt, and Garurumon, giving Tai and Izzy enough time to slip past them. Etemon decides to get rid of the two boys there and then and begins to chase them out into the destert. Mimi decides to help the two and she and Togemon go out to help Matt, Joe, and their digimon. Somehow, though, Etemon was able to surpize the three, and with no matter what type of attack used, they cannot hit Etemon Inside the Pyramid, the orginal path they took to find Datamon is blocked, so they take an alternative route. By taking this route they two boys are noticed by a Gazimon's security camera. Back outside, Etemon begins to sing, which causes Togemon, Garurumon and Ikkakumon to dedigivolve. Before he can finish them off, a Gazimon informs Etemon about the other two boys in the Pyramid. While Etemon's back is turned, Joe, Matt, Mimi and their digimon hide with TK. Etemon fogets them and heads back for the Pyramid. Tai and Izzy see that the Gazimon are trying to find them. Before they can leave the room they are in Etemon breaks throught a wall. Tentomon digivolves to Kabuterimon and holds back Etemon while Tai and Agumon continue ahead. The next room they enter is the one with the eletrified wall. Overcoming his fears, Tai sticks his hand towards the wall, and his crest begins to glow when Tai discovers that the wall was indeed a fake. Etemon explodes into the room with Kabuterimon at his mercy. Agumon digivolves to Graymon as Tai goes through the wall into the room with Sora and Biyomon. Before Datamon can give Sora's Digivice and Crest to the Sora's copy, he grabs them away. Before he can give them to the real Sora, Datamon opens a hole in the floor almost causing Sora to fall throgh into the "pit" (the center of Etemon's Dark Network) that looses anything that falls in to all eternity. At the last second Tai catches Sora and gives her the Digivice and Crest allowing Biyomon to digivolve and save them. Tai, Sora, Izzy and their digimon leave just before Etemon finds Datamon. Datamon enlarges the hole into the pit before falling in and implanting computer viruses that made the pit suck in all of Etemon's henchmen before sucking in Etemon himslef. Outside Tai and the others watch the Pyramid disapear... and a more powerful Etemon enhanced by his own dark network arise from the ashes. Biyomon and Kauterimon try to attack it but with no luck. Sora suggests that they all run, by Tai holds his digivice in the air and he and Graymon go alone to attack Etemon. Tai's crest begins to glow again, giving Graymon the power to digivolve again! Graymon digivolves to Metal Graymon, and he uses his Giga Destroyer/Blaster to delete Etemon. Etemon's deletion opens a portal that sucks Tai and Metal Graymon through, leaving the others behind. When Tai opens his eyes, he and Koromon are back in the real world again...
