Episode 18: The Pixiemon Cometh
Back in the desert, the group begins to discuss about the crests now that Mimi, Joe and Tai have one. As the others engage in conversation, Tai and Agumon begin to wander ahead of the others. Suddenly the sand under-neath the two becomes unstabe and Kuwagumon (yes the same one form File Island) pops out. Tai is thrown from Kuwagumon while Agumon is left behind. Tai begins to worry because of Agumon's previous mistake by digivolving to Scar Graymon. Agumon, also sharing this fear, is too frightend to move. Tai makes a dive to push Agumon away just as Kuwagumon was going to chop Agumon to shreads. Before they know what's happening Kuwagumon has been destroyed by a Pixe Bomb from the Digiworld famous Pixiemon. Pixiemon tells the digimon that they need to protect the Digidestined, not be protected, and the Digidestined need to work on their training skills. Pixiemon leads the group to his invisible camouflagued tropical home. Inside the camouflague, the grouop takes their first test by climing hundreds of stairs to top of a mountain where Pixiemon's training camp is. At the top, before dinner, Pixiemon makes the kids wash all of the floors of his camp, except for Tai and Agumon where he leads them into a dark cave. Pixemon leaves the two there and after he leaves they being to sink into the floor of the cave. When they awake, there are in a strange underground lake, Tai causes himself and Agumon to flip out of the boat, and the more they argue, the futher they float away from the exit. Later that night, Matt and Izzy's tags begin to glow. By following the glow, they are lead to a well outside of Pixemon's camouflage. By now it is morning and Tentomon and Gabumon have begun to worry. TK, Joe, Mimi, and Sora begin to supect that Pixiemon has done something to them. Back at the well, Izzy and Matt climb in and find their crest emedded ing the walls of the well. As they exit the well, one of Etemon's wires picks up their signal, and Etemon sends Tyrannomon after them. Seconds after Izzy and Matt are save in the camoflage, Tyrannomon busts through it! Pixemon and the others are alterted, and Pixiemon does his best to fight Tyrannomon, be he needs Tai and Agumon to finish him off. In the underground lake, Tai's and Agumon's boat float past different recreations of places from the city where Tai had lived. They come to a brige and they get off there. On the brige, Tai sees a younger verson of himself trying to ride a bike. Tai understands now that when he was trying to learn how to ride a bike, he didn't try just once, he kept at it, so he and Agumon shouln't give up on digivolving. He helps his younger self out, and he and Agumon work together to get back to Pixemon's HQ. Agumon digivolves just in time to stop Tyrannomon, and he and Tai save the day. The group thanks Pixiemon as they leave after the battle in search of the remaining crests.
