Episode 4: Biyomon Gets Firepower
After their encounter with Seadramon the group has now entered a forest, and is unsettled by the noise of soming in the sky (a black gear). A while later the group come to a clearing a sees hundreds of telephone poles in a lone destert. The group concludes that the telephone poles must lead to a telephone and civilization. The kids begin to follow the poles in the hot destert while cooking their brains. Joe begins to loose it and Izzy suggests that they head back into the cool forest. It is then when the group also notices that the telephone poles aren't connected to any wires! Mimi checks her compass to see where they are but the needle is spinning helplessly out of controll. The group is about ti head back into the forest when Tai notices a small villagein his telescope. Tai leads the way when the kids discover that the village is really little! It turns out to be a Yokomon village. Meanwhile at the nearby Mt. Miharashi, the black gear the kids noticed eailer crashes through the mountian and finds it's way to Meramon who resides in the mountain. The gear bores through Meramon and causes him to overheat... Back at the Yokomon village the Yokomon plan a feast for the DigiDestined. Thirstly, TK wanders over to the village well and plans for a drink of water fresh from Mt. Meharashi. Before anyone has a drink, the well erupts in a column of fire! Tai uses his telescope and sees Mearamon headed strait for the village. The group decides to hide the Yokomon in a empty boat that had sunk in the now dried lake, but there are much too many Yokomon and Sora begins to worry about Biyomon who hasn't entered the ship yet. As the last of the Yokomon are secure, Meramon shows up. Biyomon's spiral twister is no match for Meramon's fire and Biyomon is shot down. Sora catches Biyomon before she crashes. Tentomon, Agumon, and Patamon try to fight Meramon but, like Biyomon, are not strong enough and only cause Meramon to grow stronger! Determined to save the others, Biyomon digivolves to Birdramon and uses her Meteor Wing to blast the black gear out of Meramon, saving the day. Later that night the Yokomon hold a feast for the DigiDestined. Meramon explains how the black gear caused him to act so strangly, but the Yokomon forgive him. Sora is too proud of Biyomon to eat and knows that Biyomon whill always be there to protect her.
