With your signature on bounce the last email you've received, the symbol way, not the plaintext way, and then instead of sending it, remove your signature, some text will appear and you'll see something that says message forward id= then a number. Thats the number of emails you've received on a user name. You have to have html in your signature and know how to bounce an email for this to work.
The same procedure works for forwarded newsgroup posts.


HOW TO BOUNCE

  • Place cursor within email or post
  • Address it to yourself
  • press TURN SIGNATURE OFF (if ON)
  • place cursor on "SUBJECT" Line
  • press CMD+DELETE to erase everything out of it
  • press RETURN key TWICE
  • press ALT+Z {this symbol'§'will appear}
  • press CMD+A {this '§'will be highlighted}
  • press CMD+X {this '§'will disappear}
  • Place your cursor back on the subject line and press CMD+V {this '§'will re-appear a few lines below}
  • press SEND
  • You will receive you bounced mail within a few seconds and can few its HTML code on the bottom

  • when over a text area:
  • press CMD+A, this will hightlight the entire text
  • press CMD+C, this will copy your highlighted text
  • press CMD+V, this will paste your highlighted text at your assigned destination (webpage, email signature box etc.) 1
