UPDATE: 29 MAY 2002 [Added a post on the New Order Paris concert on The Neworders] (updates on Movement and Diary are not reported here)

Barney and me pic
New Order's Bernard Sumner (right) and me in Manchester before the comeback concert in 1998. Wanna see me now? Are you sure? Alright then, click here.

So it's almost two years (26 June) of A New Order Fan being online, during which I've had almost 2,000 visitors, which is totally amazing and unexpected for such an amateurish site.
I want to thank especially those who wrote me to express their comments (always positive), the Teletext idea has been appreciated and I've decided to keep it even if I have to dedicate less time to the site. I'll mainly report posts I do on mailing lists with a very basic design, that's all I can do now... I hope you'll go on following this site, I should update it more often since the design takes a lot less time now...

Windows users: DOWNLOAD OCR A Extended now! It will only take a few seconds. Unzip and install the file in your Windows/Fonts directory. Go to Flashkit, on that site you'll also find many other smart fonts...

Apart from the other incarnations of New Order members during the last 24 years (Warsaw, Joy Division, Electronic, Revenge, The Other Two, Monaco
) my favourite bands (with all their solo and side projects if existing) are:

  • Pixies
  • Massimo Volume
  • The Smiths
  • Prefab Sprout
  • The Sugarcubes
  • Depeche Mode
  • A Certain Ratio
  • Section 25
  • Durutti Column
  • Cocteau Twins
  • The Wake
  • Diaframma
  • Marlene Kuntz
  • Bluvertigo
  • Swervedriver
  • Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark
  • Steely Dan
  • Slowdive...
