Who is Angie Velasquez?
Well, Angelica Teresa Velaquez is a character I created to appear in my story "The Wages of Sin". This was the first fanfic I ever wrote and it was set in the original Old West scenario of the TV series "The Magnificent Seven".
Not long after completing that story, Mog created the ATF alternate universe. I pestered her about writing another story set in that alternate universe. She responded with, "Why don't you?" And so I created another version of Angie for that scenario. It was only meant to be a "one off" but through the encouragement of others, sequels emerged.
And since that time, the fates of the two characters have diverged - although they are undeniably reminiscent of each other. And I've been incredibly flattered when other writers have asked if they could feature Angie in their stories.
If you would like to feature Angie in a story, I'd like to make just a couple of small requests:
1) Please E-mail me first. I'd love to discuss the story with you. You never know - I might have some ideas you could use.
2) Please let me link your story to this page in some way shape or form. I'd like to make this page an easy reference directory for all the stories featuring Angie.
3) Treat Angie nicely. She's just a kid, after all. But by the same token, don't stand for any nonsense from her. She's a good kid at heart but she's no angel (despite her name). Don't try and bribe her with liquorice (it won't work because she doesn't like it) but most forms of chocolate are good currency. And she loves bedtime stories.
