CONNOR ADAM POWELL
         Rainbows would never be rainbows
If Sunshine had never met rain
No one would ever need comfort
If there was no sadness or pain
But life holds both sunshine and showers
The days arent all bright and all fair
So look through the showers for Rainbows,
You'll always find hope shining there.

Connor was born asleep on the 13th June 2001 at 15.56pm. He weighed 4lbs and was 42 cms long.  He was a truly beautiful little boy, as you can see from his photo.

Connor died because he had a very rare genetic disorder called Trisomy 18. This means he had an extra copy of the number 18 chromosome in all his cells.

This meant that he was very small and not as healthy as most babies.  But his whole family wanted to see him so much and they were willing to love him and care for him no matter what problems he might have.

In the following pages I would like to tell you Connor's story, share some of his photos with you and also those of some of his special friends and also to tell you a little bit about Trisomy 18 and other related disorders.

Connor touched the hearts of many people and changed many lives in his time on Earth. I hope that he will change yours too.
