Appearance: He has golden blond hair, and a tanned face and snub nose and strong chin. Deep blue-grey eyes with dark lashes. He has a muscular build from life on a ship. He wears browns and plaids and white poets shirts, and has a dagger in his belt decorated with knotwork.

Personality: He has a darker sad side due to his family, but meeting his dragon cured his grief. He's kind and has learned to laugh again. He is a neat freak in his own weyr, and cautious when partying and fighting. He is a comforter and a kind person, and likes to express affection.

Family: His father was a fisher and his mother a cotholder, he has no family left alive.

History: He was apprenticed to be a fisher and all was well until one day his mother and sisters were caught in a house fire, while husband and son were at sea. Only the mother escaped. She took to drink. His father became bitter and got into knife fights on the docks. He was killed and died in his boy's arms. B'rad feels guilty because he held back, since he was angry and frightened and 15 yrs old. He spent the next year almost as a thief and vagrant and drunkard, and a blue dragon landed beside him and searched him. Its rider was worldly and keenly sized the boy up, and persuaded him to stand and before B'rad knew it, he was looking into the beautiful whirling eyes of a baby green named Tollanth. The love after all that pain and hopelessness was the best thing that had ever happened to him. He still gets choked up thinking about that day. He's been improving ever since. He has come to seek his fortune at Kiern.

Color: She has a light green body with dark pine green legs and head and neck and tail. The dark green is like a mask over her eyes.

Desc: A large size with sturdy bones, like her rider.
Personality: Sweet and gentle and nurturing, with a gentle sense of humour, and only a bit of a scatterbrain. Knows she is pretty. Checks out her rider's new friends to see if they are trustworthy and has definite opinions on some. He laughs at her mothering.

Pets: Spook, a blue fire lizard. Very curious and playful and likes to check out everything, and will steal food, but not to eat it.

Other: B'rad has a bit of a crush on an eccentric harper named Pelliam, but does not act upon it for he's shy. Is a friend, instead.
