Before it was Dehsa (The story of the people who refound the legendary Weyr.)
Denrha Weyr opened, rather innocently, as F’laire, with his blue Kynth came back to his old weyr, with the intent of making it great again. Being the first on the scene, he became de-facto weyrleader. Kayta, with her gold Anneth was next, and they became Sr. Queen and Weyrwoman, since there were no others.  As soon as word had spread, more riders and crafters came to join the re-opened Denrha. MasterHarper Tara Fey was the first non-rider to make an appearance there, and Kynth Searched her as a candidate; a big surprise, and honor, for a master-crafter. Lemmah, on green Kerivath, and her weyrmate R’lorn, on brown Semmith. She was the Weyrlingmaster, and he, a searchrider.
At about the same time, Kiern Weyr opened rather modestly, and quietly, as Anya arrived on her gold Vieth, and began, painstakingly, to make maps of the Weyr. Soon after, others had come to join Kiern, Kygali and her green Esath, and Bronze Ignath, with L'rke.
At Denrha, things were beginning to look successful. With a council being formed to run the weyr efficiently, and some major cleaning and minor construction happening to make Denrha more livable. A bronzerider, L’ton, came down with firehead, and with the help of the just-arrived healer Aniava, a girl named Dylanna took care of him. Shortly after, T’skon’s bronze Falath flew Cylara’s Queen Kimath in a stunning display, and the weyr began to ready itself for a clutch on the sands.
Kygali and Esath had only been at Kiern a few days when they had gone off exploring... err... hunting. Kygali was climbing up a cliff-face when a sudden, and wholly unexpected rock fall caught her off guard. Esath quickly winged up to catch her rider, but was rewarded with a large, sharp rock through her left mainsail. Since they were already airborne, Esath winked *between* and they returned to Kiern, crash-landing in the bowl. Kygali suffered a broken leg, and was rather shaken, but was otherwise okay. A passing dragonhealer saw to Esath's wing, while Kiern's resident healer, Greenrider Aniava, took care of Kygali's leg.
As T’skon and his weyrmate Cylara enjoyed their time together, the barely-recovered L’ton ran off with Dylanna to some southern beach for a little quality time of their own. This panicked Aniava the healer and the others, and R’lorn, T’san, and a few others took off to find them. But that pair wasn’t all they found. Yana, on blue Bandwith, with an ill passenger: Kayliss, suffering from firehead. They all flew back to Denrha, the long way, and got Kayliss and L’ton into the make-shift infirmary in the weyrling barracks.
At Kiern, during this time, others came, some staying, some leaving in pursuit of somewhere to call home. The new headwoman, Rynae, found that there were halls and back passages leading from every room to other places in the weyr. Of course, these are most likely on the weyr's new maps, but a significant discovery for someone who hasn't seen the maps.
Fio, the very friendly and very effeminate Nighthearth cook and baker, took great pains to make sure Kygali was comfortable and happy whenever he saw her.
At Denrha, the firehead victims were on the road to recovery, thanks to the great care taken by the weyrfolk, and the headwoman Kylynn. Unknown to most of the weyr, Lemmah’s green Kerivath had a mating flight in the middle of the night. She’d been chewing firestone for years, so there was no chance of her having a clutch.
As time went on at Kiern, Esath's wing became infected, whether due to a shoddy job by the wandering dragonhealer or something else, and Greenrider Aniava, with some help from the other weyrfolk, soon handled this, and Esath is on the road to recovery.  After this, Aniava was chased from the weyr by hard-hearted riders, who couldn't accept her green Riyath. The dragon was big, as big or bigger than a brown, and this caused the others to tease Aniava unmercifully. Bluerider D'vind, on his dragon Xyoneith, and a weyrbrat, Maeiver, left Kiern to track her down. They have not returned.
Soon after this, T’skon returns to Denrha, alone. Cylara and her queen have gone back to their old weyr, taking the unlaid clutch with them. That weyr had lost it’s only queen, and had more need of Kimath than Denrha... or so they thought. Heartbroken, T’skon planned to leave Denrha, and join his weyrmate there. An emergency council is called, and plans are made for the entire weyr to merge with another fledgling weyr; Kiern.
At Kiern, D'met, a weyrling brownrider, who left his old weyr as soon as Malarnth could go *between*, fell from his weyr, and blacked out. His dragon, distressed, could not wake him, and cried out for help. The weyr mobilized, even the injured Kygali, to take care of the boy. A new bronzerider, D’sot, came onto the scene, and was a great help in relocating the boy to the infirmary.
Then, an enormous blue dragon comes from *between*... it is Weyrleader F’laire, of Denrha, on his dragon Kynth. He came to arrange for Denrha’s folk to join Kiern, as their weyr was slowly dying. Their morale was gone. No-one was happy.

On this bright morning at Kiern, the first of the Denrha folk have arrived at Kiern, and have begun to settle in. And soon they'll discover that
Kiern is truly the long lost Dehsa Weyr.
