Where Are Our Defenders |
|
|
Where have the defenders of the rights of Americans gone? I find it so sad that we have been reduced to being puppets to the whims of those who are supposed to be in our capitols standing up for our rights. The government has become so involved even in our personal lives that we can no longer be sure that the sanctity of homes will be preserved. We no longer have the rights that the Founding Fathers set forth in the Constitution. The very basis of our government is under attack and most don't even realize what they are letting slip away. We came to this country to escape the very things that we are being subjected to. The government is even getting involved in religious issues, and it is clearly stated that there shall be a separation of church and state. Then how can the state say that we connot do this and we cannot do that with anything involving religion. A separation of Church and State should be that the State cannot impose it's authority over any religious matter, just as the church cannot assert its authority over the government. The government is getting so deep into the lives of families that they are now able to dictate how you discipline your children. The government is taking away the rights of Americans to defend themselves, the Second Amendment of the Constitution guarantees each American citizen the right to bear arms and protect themselves and their country. I ask, where are our defenders? |

The government was established by the people, and for the people. That doesn't mean that the government was given the authority to control the lives of it's citizens. It was set forth as a means of making sure that the rights of everyone were not infringed upon. That doesn't mean that because something has the potential of danger that it is the goverment's duty or job to keep us from being idiots and getting ourselves hurt or killed. Their job is to insure our right to be an idiot if that is how we choose to use our rights. I am not saying that there doesn't need to be laws controling safety issues. Speed limits on the highways and streets of America are essential. Laws dealing with the safety of employees on job sites is not an infringement of rights but prudent and just legislation. But tell a free American citizen that they have to wear a seat belt because the government knows that is what is best for you, is ludicrous. Sure it is what is best for you, but is it the Government's job to take your personal judgement into their hands. I say no. If I choose to be an idiot and not wear a seat belt then I should have the right to be an idiot. Should I be punished for being an idiot? In this aspect of the law I don't think so. If I get thrown from the car and die does the government pay for my funeral? More than likely not. Does the government take care of my outstanding debts? I don't think so. So where do they have the right in telling anyone that they cannot be unsafe in regards to an individual's own safety. My not wearing a seat belt doesn't put anyone in danger, other than myself. It may endanger the well being of my family whom it is my responsibility to provide for, but it doesn't endanger them or anyone else physically. It is just one more way that the government is making a puppet out of the citizens. |

Some say; well, you really don't know what the Founding Fathers had in mind when they established the Constitution. Well it is really quite clear in more ways than one. Not only in the wording of the Constitution are their ideas and principles set forth, but quotes from those very men on fundamental rights that are documented and known to be the driving force of their desire for our country. |

The government is an established set of offices designed for the protection of rights of the citizens, it is that simple. It is not a set of offices for the enslavement of the citizens. The government has stepped way outside the boundaries of it's intended functions and only we the citizens can put it back in it's place. We are the government whether you like it or not, and the government of the United States has to listen to us or tell us that we are under a tyrannical rule. In wisdom our Founding Fathers established a written document that would be the building blocks of the greatest nation to ever exist on the planet. In times of need who do other countries call upon to help secure their freedom? And time and time again our sons and daughters have been asked to lay down their lives for others. Yet the politicians have established themselves as selfseving, lying and untrustworthy. They cover up and explain things away. They cast our veterans aside and tell them that there is nothing wrong with them, when they know that there is. How can we let this happen? Now is the time for us to stand together and say in a loud and clear voice that I will not go quietly into the night, that you will never take my freedom away from me without hearing my voice. I am the government, I am the one who has the right to choose, I am the one who will stand up and be accounted for as a defender of the people of my country. Where have the defenders of our rights gone? |
|
|
|
I pray that the people of the United States as well as other countries cry out in ourtage at the unmitigated audacity of the governments of the world that try to enslave us. I stand here today and will tell you that I am willing to go to my grave as an outlaw and a traitor, before I submit to slavery. I will die a free man. No government will take away my freedom. |

"The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to always be kept alive. It will often be excercised when wrong, but better so than not to be practiced at all. I like a little rebellion now and then. It is like a storm in the atmosphere." |

What is freedom? Freedom is the right to make choices on your own. How much freedom do we have? Yes we can still choose to exercise freedom, but you will have to pay for it. That is right, you buy your freedoms. If you choose to be an idiot and not wear a seat belt and the police catch you then you pay a fine for exercising your freedom to choose to be an idiot. If you choose to discipline your child and someone with an idea that a spanking is abuse and they tell a certain government agency, then you will be paying for lawyers to defend your right to choose. And in the event that the lawyer isn't good enough at standing up for your rights you pay with your physical freedom. Now I am not saying that someone who literally beats a child shouldn't be punished, I am not talking about abuse, I am talking about discipline. I was spanked so many times I couldn't poosiblly count all of them. But I was never abused. I did something wrong I was held accountable, I payed the price for being an idiot. If you are wealthy enough or have enough clout you can buy almost any freedom that you wish. Why just look at what some politicians and wealthy members of our society have been able to do. Marion Bradley can get caught red handed buying and using cocaine. And what happened to him? He got community service! Professional athletes get caught doing drugs and they are just told they can't play anymore, at least for a little while. If I were to get caught just once they would through me under the jail and throw away the key. Our freedoms in this country are based upon your ability to purchase them. |

The media is a great aid to the government. They are more than happy to point out that some idiot with a gun killed somone for no apparent reason, and this is why the government should have the right to take away the right set forth in the Second Amendment of the Constitution. The media is the governments propoganda machine, they show how wonderful your government is, they go out into the streets and buy back guns from people. I have one question...where is their gun dealership liscense? How can they legally trade in weapons without a liscense? You or I would go to jail for that. You say that times have changed and we don't need to be armed like they did back then. Well you are correct in saying the times have changed. Back then if a man was shot while trying rob someone and he survived he would be punished as a criminal. Today the person who shot the criminal is subject to law suits because the poor criminal was injured or maimed. Yes I agree, times have changed indeed. I also think that our Founding Fathers are rolling over in their graves at some of the idiocy being performed in this country, by our government. I also wish to remind you that you are the government. And that the elected officials are making all of us look like idiotic puppets. Where are the defenders of our rights? You say well that is what we have the police for. You are indeed an idot if you believe that. Call the police and tell them that someone is going to harm you. They are going to tell you that until he actually does something there is nothing that can be done. And this is really the way that it should be. If you get mad and tell someone you are going to kick their butt, and it is only words, and you really don't intend to kick their butt, you are just venting. Should the police be able to come and arrest you becasue someone made you mad and you opened you mouth in anger and frustration. I don't really think so. But the function of the police is not to prevent crime, it is to solve crimes once they have been committed. They are not our bodygaurds. They are public servants that were established to bring the lawless to justice. So when and how did the government come to determine that we are all safe enough in our homes and communities that we don't need to be able to protect ourselves. The American public has been decieved into thinking that our law enforcement is our protectors. Yes it is there job to apprehend criminals, yes it is there job to catch idiots endangering others. But it is OUR God given right to defend ourselves. This is not a right that legislators can take away. It is not a right that we were given by man. It is your right as a human being to protect yourself and your family from the harm of idiots and criminals. Once again I ask, where are our defenders? |

Things started deteriorating back in the 1930's. Of course we all know that this was the time of prohibition and the rise of organized crime. And in a way I can see how they thought that they were doing what was in the best interest of the country. But soon prohibition was repealed, the Organized Crime Sydicates stayed and even flourished, but the point I am leading to here is that how many mobsters abided by the gun laws. First Machine guns and then sawed off shotguns were outlawed because these were the weapons of choice by mobsters. I am sure that Scarface (Al Capone) was one of the first to say Ok fellas the law says we can't use these weapons so I want you to turn all illegal weapons over to the nice policemen. Yea right. The laws were stupid for one simple reason, they were intended and directed toward the criminal element, and that same criminal element were the ones who were openly defiant of those laws. My question is this....How did the laws make their way over into governing the other citizens of the U. S.? Where are our defenders? |

I have written this by the seat of my pants, I have not organized my thoughts and presented them in an organized manner that can be set forth in a clear an concise format. I don't have lengthy documentation of facts that are readily available to the general public. I have simply sat down and put together what I see as simple truths. I don't claim to be the smartest man in the world, but I know that I am not the stupidest either. I may not be as smart as I think I am, but I am certain that I am smarter than the government thinks I am. I am counting on the fact that the rest of the citizens in this great country of ours are not as stupid as the government thinks they are. We cannot continue to be lead down a road of sure destruction by allowing our government to get out of control. We must take action, and that action must be taken soon or we may have no hope other than to fight as outlaws, criminals and traitors. As it stands now we can stand and fight without bloodshed, but may come to the point that we may not. It may come to the point that we must stand and fight to preserve what others have already fought and died to preserve. Where are our defenders? |

If you will not fight when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to a moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival.- - There may be even a worse fate. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves. |

I hope that the time for Americans to stand up is not already past the point of being able to keep our freedom simply by standing up and being counted. I hope that we can still have the freedoms promised by our Constitution without having to fight for them again. But as we have already seen our law enforcement agencies are using rules of engagement. To me this is a bad sign, if they have rules of engagement then they are no longer law enforcemet but have become another arm of the military. An how is it that the government can deploy the military against it's own citizens? The military is not for suppressing the citizenry, it for the protection of the citizens. And yet they have been used against us already. And where is our well armed and regulated militia that our contstitution said we are to have? The government has declared militias criminal and dangerous. Why is that? Where are our defenders? We are to protect the Constitution from all enemies both foreign and domestic. Where are our defenders? |

If you go to church and pay your thithes, if you home school your children did you know that you have been marked as dangerous, and possiblly unfit to raise your children. And that the government has to be ready to step in and take control, you might not be fit parents. Where are our defenders? Who is going to stand up and say this is not right, this is not the job of the government? Will you wait until the gestapo type law enforcement agencies are knocking down you front door before you will make a stand? By that time it will be too late. You will already have lost your right to defend yourself. You will be at their mercy, and you will bend to their dictates. You will submit or be beaten down, thrown in jail or even killed. Will you stand by and watch your fellow citizens be tyranized by our very own government? When warrantless entry into homes is sanctioned and yes even endorsed at the highest levels of government, will you still stand by idle and let it transpire? When our government deploys the military against the citizens of our own country will you do nothing? Where are our defenders? |

I have relatives long dead in cemetaries that paid the ultimate price to insure your freedom. My family has already given sons for freedom, but I know that if it need be that there are more of us who will pay that price again. Look to your neighbor, there is a defender. Look to the community that stands together and says we will not be subjected to tyranny, there are your defenders. Look to those who are willing to speak out, those who are willing to write things like this, there are your defenders. Call on us and we will stand with you. When they come to break down your doors, to take your children, to take your firearms, to take your freedom, call on us and we will stand beside you and say that we will not allow this to happen. Here are your defenders! On the pages that are to follow you will find the defenders of your rights, contact them and let them know that you wish to be a part of the defense of rights, freedoms and our country. Let your voice be heard. Help others and yourself by speaking up and shouting at injustice and tyranny. |
