HIGH EXPECTATIONS

You've seen it before.  The camera captures a guy with a well-defined  body, posing to display his physique.  Or maybe it's the video camera recording two guys meeting moments before the scene breaks and our two guys are feeling each other's bodies, kissing and gearing up for a quick romp.  There is a time and place for these forms of erotica.  But what if there was more?

What if, for example, we could see the erotic in the fully-clothed gay/bisexual father, spending time with his daughter?  What if we tuned in to our inner more meaningful gay/bisexual male erotic?

We can imagine and accept erotic meaning and hope that is emotionally, intellectually and spiritually deeper than and wider than simple soft-core physique-worship or physical sensation.

As gay and bisexual men, we have the right to be discontent with the status quo, erotica and spirit-division as usual.  We have the right to ask deeper and wider questions (and require more satisfactory answers) from gay male erotica.  We can create and celebrate new styles of gay erotica that are emotionally, intellectually and spiritually deep, wide, and rich.

We can create meaningful erotica for our lives.
