Pansies at Play
							I made this lovely wall hanging using a beautiful marbled ultramarine fabric, a fabric with blue, purple and rose pansies encircled by muted green leaves and tendrils and highlighted with touches of gold, and a white on white fabric which sets off the colors to perfection. I used a traditional Hen and Chicks pattern, and  machine pieced and machine stipple quilted it in transparent thread so that the thread would not detract from the beautiful design.  It is made of 100% cotton fabric with polyester batting.  Some hand stitching.  A sleeve is sewn onto the back for hanging.  Pansies at Play measures about 38" square.
