Awake!

The colors in this quilt range from palest yellows to deepest blues and midnight blacks.  Motifs are hidden throughout, such as faces, animals, suns, stars and moons.  Both the front and the backs of  fabrics have been used to enhance subtle shading.  It is composed of approximately 500 two inch squares and is entirely hand pieced.  The center is hand quilted.  The borders are machine quilted with twin needle detailing on the peach border and gold thread stipple quilting on the outside border.  It has a navy binding and it measures  34-1/2" square.  This quilt is not available.
