Dancing Angels is composed of Ohio Star and Nine Patch blocks. Each little piece is hand quilted. Special details include 4 hearts quilted in concentric lines in the center of 4 blocks, and sections of ivy on each side and at each corner of the outer border. The light cream background fabric has little "crayony" dabs of muted reds and greens, and the country angels appear to be dancing as they garden with tiny watering pails. It is a very soft and cozy quilt. The picture just doesn't convey the cushiony hand quilted effect. Dancing Angels is about 33" square, has been machine pieced and completely hand quilted. A sleeve is sewn on the back for hanging. Please notice that one of the little squares in the center where 2 triangles meet is turned the wrong way. It isn't something that one notices easily when viewing the actual quilt, but I noticed immediately when I looked at the photo. This little imperfection testifies to its handmade origin.
Ohio Star Block Pillow
This pillow is a duplicate of the block in the quilt. It has been machine pieced and quilted for durability has been stuffed and sewn closed.
Dancing Angel Button Pillow
This pillow is lined with muslin for extra strength. It has twin needle topstitching and three wooden buttons and buttonholes on the side for closure. The muslin pillow which is inserted inside is included.
