Principles In Breeding: Hi! Welcome to Debern! We are a small kennel located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada. We are a small kennel which has been breeding and exhibiting Shetland Sheepdogs for over 30 years now. We use our expertise in breeding dogs that are sound in body and mind.
Because we strongly believe in breeding for temperment and intelligence as well as a structurally sound and healthy puppy, Debern Shelties are capable of completing any task requested. Debern Kennels enjoys producing versatile dogs that are capable of working in obedience, conformation, herding, flyball, agility, and whatever else you are interested in, as well as being a loyal and happy, family lapdog! Our Shelties are happy in any kind of environment.
Puppies are sold on a non-breeding agreement with a written health guarantee on eyes, hips, etc. We do sell to show homes on private treaty. Raised in a family environment our puppies are placed with care and consideration into new loving homes
We strive for quality and not quantity as we do not believe in over population.
We do have puppies available occasionally, as well as offer Champion stud services and conformation handling services. Please contact us for further details.
