Christmas 2003
St. Nick once again visited Hardin Co., TN at Pittsburg Landing. This year our portrayal was 186l - the war has started but the battle has not been fought at Shiloh. We were rewarded to see how many visitors told us they had seen our presentation last year and come back to see the changes the year l86l brought with it. At the Dover Hotel we portrayed a local family. Members attending were served a formal period Christmas dinner in the hotel as a way of saying, "Thank you for your hard work this year".
Next year we will present Christmas at the Dover Hotel the first weekend of December of 2004., and Christmas at Pittsburg Landing 1862 the second weekend of December in 2004. 1862 should be quite a change following the battle of Shiloh. Victoria |
