Malinda Jane Wolf Casey

1. MALINDA JANE5 WOLF (JACOB4, MICHAEL3, JACOB2, MICHAEL1) was born 13 Sep 1834, and died 20 Sep 1888 in AR. She married TANDY YOUNG CASEY, SR. 30 Jan 1855 in Wolf House Norfork, AR, son of HIRAM CASEY and CATHERINE DEPRIEST. He was born 03 Mar 1826 in Middleburg, Tenn. or Bolivar, Hardeman, TN, and died 10 Jul 1916 in Batesville, Ark.   Tandy Young Casey, who was named for a close friend of the family, Col. Tandy Young, was a big handsome man. He weighed 226 and was 6' 4" when he was 21. He moved to Izard Co., AR, about 1853. After his marriage he located near the mouth of the Northfork River.  He enlisted in the Confederate Army in 1861.  He served as Quartermaster in Freeman's Brigade and also with General Price in his raid in Missouri.  After the war, he re-opened his store and farmed.  He is suppose to be the father of seven children. Two of his sons were medical doctors.

KILLMAN 07 Mar 1882 in Izard Co., AR. She was born 17 May 1862 in Mountain View, Stone Co., AR, and died 24 Oct 1928.  Dr. Casey lived in Temple, TX.  Letter he wrote to John Q. Wolf dated April 16th 1936.  Wife Jennie C. Killman Birth: 17 MAY 1862 <Mountain View, Stone, Arkansas>  Death 24 OCT 1928
