E. Mildred Wolf3 - Generation III  (descended from Jacob2, Michael Wolf1)   E. Mildred wife of William  Livingston lived west of Calico Rock on a farm that was at one time known as Caples Farm. She kept her 3 granddaughters while her daughter, Maldred Langston widow of John Langston, went to Tennessee to see a doctor for help with an ulcerated leg. The daughter was never heard of again after she was seen on horseback following a family who was returning to TN from AR. The girls lived with their grandmother till they married, so that would mean about 1860. Mildred, herself, was widowed young, but she had a black slave, John, who helped her raise the children. The granddaughter, Polly, married Modena Francis Woodcock. He joined the CSA in 1862. Their first child was born in 1864.
