Earth is the setting for Darkfang's first battle. His opponent is a skilled warrior...
"Huff... huff... almost perfected the Shin Kikoho. But for now, I think I'll rest!" "Hehe... the mighty Katai, tired!? No rest for the weary! Time to fight, Human!! Galick-Ho!" "Ground Razor!" Katai flips past the ki bolt, launching a ki shot. It destroys the rock pillar Darkfang stood on. He falls into the rumble, but before Katai could take advantage, Darkfang leaps up and fires a Kienzan. The ki saw rips into a rushing in Katai's shoulder. He presses on ignoring the pain and deck Darkfang in the face. He throws his, semi-limp, arm up to distract the Draco and attack with the other, using a Honoo no Tama. Darkfang reels back. "That pitiful flame was barely enough to singe me! You'll have to do better!!" Darkfang catches him in a standing armbar, further injuring that arm. Katai screams, but as he does he fires off a Renzoku Energy Dan giving him distance from his foe. "Shimatta!! Ite..ite..ite!! Kuraei! Galatica Donut!!" The ki ring wraps around Darkfang and tightens. Katai makes another one to double its' effect. "Ack!! Grrrraahhhh!!!" Darkfang struggle to break free. While this is happening, Katai pops a senzu bean in his mouth. By the time he digested it, Darkfang is free.
With his arm healing Katai rushes headlong at the monster. "Tama Rekka!!" Katai headbutts Darkfang in the chest. Darkfang grabs his neck and chokes him a bit, before he DDT's him. Darkfang grabs Katai by the neck and slams him into the ground. "I want that armor!" Darkfang grabs the front part of the chestplate. Katai grabs Darkfang's wrist. "Go... buy your..own!" The two try their best to succeed in their task. Darkfang at trying to remove the Yadrat Armor. Katai at halting him. Soon, Katai feels Darkfang full-powered aura grow. Seeing no other option Katai charges. "See you in HFIL!! Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack!!" A singular ghost is spit out from Katai's mouth. But since Darkfang is closely hovering over Katai, the Kamikaze Ghost explodes instantly. Minutes after the smoke clears, Katai is seen crawling out of the gigantic hole in the hole that he occupied, chest smoldering. Darkfang rolls over several miles away, clutching the front half of Katai's Yadrat Armor. "Chie... next time, Katai, I'll end up holding you heart!"
Maigo vs. Bebi Kenen
Maigo senses a former teammate whose ki has been slightly altered. He flies off to investigate it...
"Kenen... how low you've fallen! Succumbing to Bebi!" "Kenen had no choice as you soon will!! Taiyoken!" "Aaahhhh!!!" Blinded by the bright flash, Maigo reels back. Bebi-Kenen charges in, wasting no time, firing a Maximum Kamehameha. Maigo goes tumbling back, but grabs the earth to slow his backwards progression. "Makosen!!" "Kikoho!!" Maigo detonates the incoming projectiles with a ki wave, but a still charging Bebi-Kenen decks him with a punch to the face. Maigo skids back then stops. As he turns around to run at Bebi-Kenen he's Super Saiyajin 3. The speed and power at which Maigo delivers the haymaker punch collapses the ground beneath their feet. The two are now hovering staring at each other. "Kenen... If you're still in their... I will find a way to rid you of Bebi... Even if it means your death." "Bold words Saiyajin... Can you back them up?!" "Try me...!" "I shall...!" Bebi-Kenen draws his Twin Hook Swords as Maigo charges is ki. "Double Flame Cut!!" "Renzoku Shine Shine Missile!!" The flaming X-strike spirals towards Maigo, but Maigo's ki missiles seemingly keeps it at bay. "Hehehe... foolish Saiyajin!" Just before Bebi-Kenen attempt to attack Maigo again, "Nande!? Nooooooo-aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!", a Guts Star blasts Bebi-Kenen away.
"Who?!" "Me... your destroyer!" "Baka...!" Maigo smiles. "Well thanks for the save, but I think I could have handled it." Katai's eyes narrow, focusing on Maigo. "Heh... you think I'm here to help... you? You couldn't be further from the truth. But in a sense you are on the path to that truth and thus are an obstacle that I must overcome!" "What the HFIL are you babbling about!" "Shine!" Katai fires a Kamehameha that knocks the Super Saiyajin out of the sky. Before he hits the ground, he stops himself. "Katai... so you've come to battle, heh?! Well... Ikuzo!!" Maigo flies at Katai hands ablazing with purple ki. "Violent Compression!!" Katai gets wrecked by the multiple attacks, but the second and third Katai sandwich Maigo between two Final Flashes. "Waaaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhh!!!!!!" "See you when you get back Maigo... Kakusanyudokodan!!" Katai launches a multitude of ki orbs at the falling Maigo, now out of his Super Saiyajin 3 state. A split second before he impacts into the earth, the ki orbs rush into him, exploding. Dust rises into the air. "Well... one down..." Katai mourns slightly, then takes off to complete his quest.
Several uncountable hours later, Deus and Hito were sparing with each other in 50x's gravity, both blind folded. Maki and Taka stood on the side lines. Maki throwing ki blasts randomly and Taka diving and swooshing in at them at times. Taka was building his ability to fly at high speeds, because it was more difficult for him to overcome the gravity in the room.
"Tsuihikidan!" Ki blasts rained down, the shifting sounds of Deus and Hito's rapid alternating blows slowed and changed from each other as they each deflected the smaller blasts.
Deus did a backwards flip kicking one, Hito jumped over Deus striking out at two disintegrating them. Deus with a spinning backhand and a forearm block disabled two more. Then they both combined and joined together deflecting at lighting speed the last remainder of falling ki blasts.
Taka came in behind them going for Hito's pony tail. Hito, in the last second, whipped his head left then right, snapping the bird with his ponytail as it came in. Taka Cawed and flew out again.
*CLAP*CLAP*CLAP*CLAP*
Maki clapped and entered the center of the room, "Im very pleased with the both of you, you learn quickly, There are just two more tests. Taka!"
Taka hit a switch somewhere in the room. The sound of moving mechanisms could be heard, Maki explained, "What you hear are six statues, two are 6ft tall, the other two are 12ft tall, and the last two are 30ft tall, each representing a different species of alien and android. In several seconds you will here the sound of 10,000 steel beads falling through and within these statues. Your goal will be to catch the 36 red marked beads at various points in the statue representing the vital points. That's 18 beads a piece. The others will hit floor, and can hinder your movement, we will begin in three seconds, be careful Two, one, begin. "
Suddenly a loud pouring could be heard as the rush of beads through metal began, it sounded like a hundred perching parlors out of control. The sounds of hands slapping metal intensified until. . .
"Time!" Maki shouted and all movement ceased,
"Lights!" The lights came on in the room, Maki walked over to the two warriors, and removed their blind folds, "look in your hands. . . "
Hito looked in his hands he had 15 red marked steel beads. Maki took them, a look of disappointment on his face. Hito cupped his hands together forming a bowl then leaned over. 7 red marked beads rolled out his mouth and into his hands.
"Shimatta!" Maki slapped his forehead, quite impressed.
Maki then walked over to Dues. In Deus' hands he had only one red marked bead. "Explain yourself?"
Deus replied by letting his body expand 10x's its normal size. After it seemed as if he could grow no bigger, he started to exhale. As he exhaled 25 red marked beads shot out of his mouth and various exhaust holes in his skin lodging themselves into the steel wall on the far side.
"Maki, I only have three fingers, how'd you expect me to hold 18?"
"Yeah, Maki and what's up? You said there were only 36, but I sensed 48?"
"Because I lied!"

"You've all passed. Now take your sword."
"The sword"
"Yes the Sword"
"Maki, I don't have a sword"
"Deus, you can use my wooden taichi sword, Im going to use my steel umbrella, Hito can you handle that Guardian sword?"
"Can wasabi make your eyes water?"
"Good, replace the blind folds, by the way, we were only practicing in 25x's gravity. Taka!" A light came on displaying the gravity, which climbed from 25 to 50G. Next the statues rose into the ceiling as 36 still posts rose out of the floor. The rest of the floor vanished. Hito and Deus quickly jumped on the posts once they realized the floor was leaving.
"Ready?" Maki leaped six posts toward Hito and came in with an over head strike with his umbrella. Hito quickly parried and riposted with a mid swipe. Maki did a backwards hand spring, landed his hands of the broad side of Hito's Guardian sword. Hito flicked his sword causing it to vibrate and ripple. Maki leapt down landed one foot on a post between Hito and Deus.
Maki twirled his umbrella quickly and sharply posted a mid-strike behind him. The umbrella extended behind him toward Deus. Deus felt it coming long before it reached him so he rotated 180 degrees kneeling across two posts deflecting the shot from his rear with Maki's wooden sword..
Maki stood, planting his umbrella tip on top of one of the posts, "Very good you two, That's the way, feel the movement"
Maki kicked the tip of his umbrella sending it flying toward Hito.
"Ya~!"
"Ya~!"
"Ya~!"
"Ya~!"
Maki flailed his arms wildly, but what he was actually doing was controlling the umbrella via psychokenesis. Hito parried and deflected all the strikes then moved in with a windmill kick sending the rainblocker, at break neck speed, back towards its master. Maki quickly ducked and the umbrella continued toward Deus. Maki spun and leapt opening an amount of distance between himself and the warriors.
Deus battled it out with the umbrella a few seconds before slapping it with his palm. The umbrella flipped end over end back towards Maki who quickly caught it out of the air.
Deus focused on the ki auras in the room and then quickly reoriented himself, "Maki, what is this? Its too easy"
"Yeah, Maki hows about a challenge?"
No one saw Maki's smiled as he called out, "Taka!" The bird flipped a switch that opened steel panels along the smooth gravity room walls. Standing in them for a brief second were little green men, almost instantly they entered the room.
Only the whispered sounds of air shifting could be heard as they bounced from wall to wall and post to post. The blindfolded warriors heads' moved side to side following the sound. They quickly realized they were being circled by six fast moving Saibamen. But before they could have finished the thought, at once, the six saibamen and Maki closed in and the battle intensified.
Only the sound of cloth and air could be heard as strikes, kicks, and blows rained from the dust. Suddenly a big explosion was launched and the room filled with bright light, 8 warriors flew back in an array. Standing in the center, with one head outstretched toward the ceiling, was Deus. However, he did not pose long and quickly went on the offensive with sword and elbow blades.
"Hey Deus, be careful, guy, you got me in the mix!"
"Sorry Hito, But I've come to believe that's its every man for himself, and IM going for self" With that the battle continued.
Almost instantly and in slow motion each of the saibaman were blocked and isolated. In near state of moving meditation, Hito and Deus worked as machine fending off Maki's offenses and strikes. When their dance finished the room was filled with green body parts.
SWWWWASH! The final Saibaman leapt from a post into the air!
Deus did a low spin with elbows out stretched cutting the last Saibaman twice in mid air as Hito came in over head cutting it on a down swipe and the coming with and upward slash. The Saibaman man exploded into eight pieces. In the same rhythm they came at Maki cutting and slicing, quicker than Maki had expected, he was unable to fend off all the strikes and was quickly overpowered. At the last instance Deus and Hito let up with their blades just inches from Maki's two vital points.
"Well, you've done it, that was Blind Monk's Fury! Congratulations, now you're on your way to mastering it!", Maki was pinned against the wall, he pushed their blade tips aside with his steel umbrella.
"Just one thing Mach, How'd you know we'd stop?"
"I didn't"
". . ."
"You must understand that the fury causes one to lose contact with reality for a moment and is highly uncontrollable."
There was silence for moment as Maki's teachings sank in and then Hito was the first to speak, "I don't know guys, I think its time to get out of here!"
The Rampage Continues
It's a warm spring day on Earth. Uncommonly warm...
In the small city, named Ograf, Gwen exits a mall. "Phew! It's hot out today!" Gwen looks up and sees a fire blast heading her way. She snuffs it out with an Eraser Cannon. "A complete disregard for life... it must be Darkfang!" "I'm touched that you think of me! Here's what I think of you! Kienzan!!" Gwen ducks to evade the ki disc. As she turns to fire upon it, Darkfang hits her with a hammerfist. The Kienzan rips through the mall. The destruction it causes ends the lives of at least one hundred people. "Hahaha... just like I planned! Get up Gwen!" He picks her up with his tail, by the neck, and bashes her with his wing. As she spirals away, she powers up to her maximum. She launches a Crusher Ball at Darkfang's chest and he rocks back. Gwen continues the assault with an ascending revolution attack. "Goodnight!" A sonic boom is created as Gwen's punch makes contact with Darkfang's face. The impact nearly breaks his jaw and sends him sailing away. Gwen's pissed. She tries to calm down but all she can think about is those innocents that have just died because of Darkfang. The cracking of one's neck catches Gwen's attention. "And here... all I wanted was your Batell Jacket." "(My Batell Jacket?!) If that's all you wanted, you could have just asked for it! There was no need for all of this!" "Hey, that's my style! Kamehameha!!" "Final Flash!!" It's a pretty even ki battle, until Darkfang uses his fullest power. "Grrrraaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!" The Kamehameha overpowers the Final Flash and knocks Gwen over. "Hehe... Looks like the end of the road for you Gwen!"
Gwen's eyes peer open. She can barely make out two things. The first is Darkfang, standing above her, right hand in the air. The second, is a blur going towards his left shoulder. ::BAM!!:: Darkfang goes skidding across the ground. "Time for a fight old friend!" "Wolf... what's the big idea? Can't you see I'm in the middle of a battle?!" "Anytime... Anywhere... those are our terms, right? Let's go!!" Wolf comes in with a Rogafufuken, but Darkfang dodges using his Suiken techniques. A knee to Wolf's chin makes him flip backwards. Darkfang catches him out of mid-air and piledrives him into the ground. "Heh! Still think you can hang with the big boys Wolf? Gaaaaakkk!!" A Tenkubekejiken from Gwen, causes him to wobble. She flies back releasing a, "Bakuhatsuha!" Darkfang braces himself. "Galactica Donut!!" "(Time to try it out...) Far North Fury!!" Wolf unleashes his newest attack on his former teammate. The attack is so fierce, it brings the mighty Draco to his knees. "Thank you, Wolf..." Gwen extends her reptilian hand. ::SLAP!!:: He slaps Gwen's hand away. "Back off! Like I said, I'm just here to defeat Darkfang." "You're a long way from doing that!! Meteor Shower!!" "Oh no!" Exclaims Gwen. "This city is gonna be history!!" "Call it off!! Now!!" Darkfang shows a sinister smile. "No." Gwen scrounges for her Batell Jacket. "Is this what you want... here take it!" She throws it into the air. "Ooohh... target practice. Death Ball!!" Wolf says. "You fool!!" Darkfang leaps for it. He grabs hold of the Jacket just as Wolf's Death Ball hits him. The impact knocks Darkfang's body on a crash course with the nearest hillside. "Well... my work is done! I'm outta here before this place goes boom!" "Coward! Leaving when the going gets tough!!" "Hey... your the hero. You save the day!" Wolf teleports away. Gwen runs up to everyone she can telling them to leave this city, no one listens. Then uses Kyodaika to grow. She starts screaming at the top of her lungs for people to leave. Many listen, few heed her words. Unbeknownst to Gwen, she's got five minutes before the city is totalled. She flies around Shunkanido'ing people left and right. Then, the meteors become wildly visible. Gwen has time for one more 'port. She travels back to the city's City Hall. She eyes an young man, seemingly a passer-by through the city. "Come on... hold my hand or you'll die!" "Ok... Gwen!" A stunned look befalls the Snake Woman as she teleports them away. As the survivors watch the city be decimated by Darkfang's attack, Gwen turns away and weeps. "Don't cry, Gwen... it'll be ok!" "How do you know my name? Do I know you?" "I'm not entirely sure... It seems I did...in a past life."
