You Alone

When I look at the sky, a bird soaring high,

Or hear the sweet voice of my little child,

In a light summer breeze, the rustle of leaves,

Strong snowy winds, spring air so mild,

I see your hand, Father.  The creator of all there is!

Father, You alone are worthy to be praised!

At the foot of the cross, I can witness the cost,

To You, when you paid for my sin,

My torn broken life, a heart filled with strife,

I saw no hope until you entered in,

I know your Love, Jesus. The Savior and giver of life!

Jesus, You alone are worthy to be praised!

I put You on today, and I earnestly pray,

I bring honor and glory to Your name,

But when I make a wrong choice, I hear your voice,

Convicting, drawing me home again,

I feel your power Holy Spirit.  Refiner and counselor!

Holy Spirit, You alone are worthy to be praised!

Precious Trinity, wondrous mystery

You alone are worthy!
