The Veil
The Veil was made of blue, purple,and scarlet
fine and twisted linen.
It separated the Holy Place fom
The Holy of Holies
where the Ark of the Covenant
and
THE VERY PRESENCE OF GOD
dwelled!
Only the High Priest entered the Holy of Holies
through the veil, one day a year...
...On the Day of Atonement.
The High priest would
sprinkle the blood of the
sacrifice on the Mercy Seat.
JESUS DIED
ON THE CROSS
ON THE DAY OF ATONEMENT. UPON HIS DEATH, THE VEIL OF THE
TEMPLE WAS TORN IN TWO FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.
THE VEIL REPRESENTS
JESUS FLESH
BEING TORN IN TWO.
UPON PASSING
THROUGH
THE FLESH
OF JESUS,
OUR HIGH PRIEST
WE GAIN ACCESS
TO GOD ALMIGHTY!
"...having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart and a full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water." Hebrews 10:19-21
