Are you looking to improve your communication skills? Toastmasters can help you with your prepared speeches, impromptu speaking and listening skills.Are you looking to overcome a fear of speaking before people? Toastmasters can help with a friendly, helpful environment.
Looking to polish your speaking skills? We improve though practice. Toastmasters provides on going practice with feedback.
Do you need to give feedback to others? Evaluations are a major part of the Toastmasters program. We learn to give constructive feedback in a non-threatening manor.
Are you looking to improve your leadership skills? Toastmasters has a leadership track which is similar to it public speaking track.
Have you been elected president of your club or organization? Organizing an running of meetings is part of the basic Toastmaster program.
What makes Daylighters Special? Daylighters is open to
anyone looking to improve their communication and leadership
skills.
We have members from a variety of backgrounds and skill
levels. Daylighters members enjoy the chance to help each other
as we all
grow. Everyone has the opportunity to participate at Daylighters.
Can I visit? Like other clubs, our club always welcomes visitors. I suggest always calling or e-mailing before you visit. We might have a special meeting at a different time or location. The Rec. Center closes infrequently. Checking ahead of eliminates the possibility of a wasted trip. We meet at 6:40AM on Wednesday in Beaverton, OR USA at the Cedar Hills Rec. Center. Map & directions
