What is the nicest thing you did in grade school?
David Tom: "I tutored a friend in math and computers for a full year. Math, science and computers have always been my strong points, so I helped him."
Who was the first girl you had a crush on?
David Tom: "Whitney Dane - my sister's best friend. The first day of seventh grade, I got up at 6:00am, typed a letter revealing my feelings, brought a rose and went to her door. I knocked on her door, gave it to her and ran away.She liked it, but she was my sister's best friend."
What would you never throw out?
David Tom: "I have one stuffed bear from when I was born. My grandmother gave it to me. It's up in my closet right now. It's full of holes, but I keep it for sentamental values."
When was the last time you cried?
David Tom: "Last weekend I got into a fight with one of my friends. We both said some stuff we shouldn't have said. That night we talked about it and got everything handled. Our friendship actually became stronger."
