Born in St Paul, John is the bassist of the band, but can also play trombone and keyboards. He also streches his vocal chords at least once on each album (Star, In Another Life, The Prize, She Spreads Her Wings, Who's Stopping You), as well as singing backing vocals on most records.
Dan and John are known to have jamming contests live onstage, as they try to outdo each other (Jake just looks on). While once comparible to yeti or bigfoot, John has now gotten rid of his 'tache and long hair. John will be tieing the knot with his fiancee very soon. |
