This was a biography that I got when I wrote to David.

     David Lago who plays "Raul" in the teen love triangle on the number one daytime drama The Young and the Restless was honored to be nominated for an Emmy Award for his work on the show. Last year, David completed Hollywood Horror, a feature film. Prior to that he starred in 22 episodes of Animal Planet's family drama series,Hollywood Safari.
       A family friend who had been in the business for many years introduced him to her manager, who immediately signed him. David hired an agent and soon after, booked a national Skittles commercial in Spanish and was on his way! David guest starred on episodes of Pacific Blue, Step by Step (playing Christina Lankins' boyfriend), appeared on Dangerous Minds, the short lived ABC television series and played a young Eric Roberts in Picture Perfect for HBO. He also appeared in three music videos, MC Lite (directed by Jada Pinkett), Kid Frost and Gravity Kills.
        David starred in Kidazzle, his own children's special. This innovative program used time travel to teach children how to confront and solve problems without resort to violence. He was also in the Chick Soup for the Soul special for the PAX network. David has appeared in print campaigns for Honda, American Pharmaceuticals and Otto
Versand. He was featured in several issues of Teen Magazine including the Great Looks issue.
          David has been writing, directing and producing films since he was nine. He is in the process of forming his own production company and has two feature films in th development. One, a "coming of age" story, will star David and several other young Hollywood actors. David's first starring role in a feature film was Young Hollywood. This film is about the lives of young, successful Hollywood teen actors.
