Robin Hoods Bay

					While we were there, we did our usual trick of buying the local Ordnance Survey map and finding a circular walk. The route we worked out involved a disused railway and cliff-tops, until heading back to Robin Hood's Bay village along the beach. The railway must have been used to transport rock from some of the quarries along the coast as there are reminders of the areas industrial past dotted round, such as the carving of the miner on the left.
