Easy Jet are generally a pain in the backside. They did, however, take responsibility for the handle of our pushchair getting sheared off and sent us a cheque for four times the amount that it cost to repair which was good of them. Things could have been worse, we were talking to a couple on the same outbound flight whose luggage had been lost completely. They only had hand luggage and the clothes they were wearing. Bad in the circumstances, but they also had a toddler. Our hearts went out to them.
We saw them again on the way back and they were laden with suitcases, so they must have been OK in the end.
