Malta, Gozo & Comino 2003

While on Gozo, we visited some archaeological remains and then took a walk round the city walls of Rabat, the main town, where you can get good views of the island. I thought the honey coloured sandstones used to build the walls looked wonderful in the sunlight. We then caught the bus back to the ferry for the crossing back to Malta. The port is a maelstrom of pushy taxi drivers, fishing boats, buses, vans, policemen and milling crowds. Quite the antithesis of the laid-back air encountered on the rest of the island.
