Beach huts make an appearance towards Sutton-on-Sea. Some are obviously well cared for and checking out the local Estate Agents, we found out that they retail for something in the region of £15,000. Southwold it ain't though, especially when the odd hut is a brick built affair with inner-city style steel shutters for all the world resembling a public toilet.
A stretch of beach less than ten metres wide seemed to be covered with starfish (top photo). I wondered why they had been washed up in one place only, and whether they were social animals. |
