Interesting project. I wanted to experiment with an electric 1/12 fighter, although
not with a view to competition. It was designed for both SPEED 480 Race motor or can be
easily fitted with a 540/600 size motor and larger cells.
So far, it's only been flown with the Speed 480 with 8xAE 600s. Flight duration is about 5
minutes if you're economical with the throttle. The glide is superb, and there are no bad
habits. It's built from white foam and is very light, and so doesn't like the wind much. The
next stage is to fit the larger motor and cells. Performance so far suggests that the
additional wing loading should not be a problem.
