| This 1/12th combat fighter looks like it's seen plenty of active service - note the coins taped on the fuz, for that critical CofG adjustment! However, it's a tough little so-and-so. It's done more cartwheels than Olga Korbutt! Construction for fuz is balsa, with the canopy sanded from a block of white foam. The wings are home-cut white foam core, skinned with 1/16" balsa. AUW is a little high, and it needs a good chuck to get airborne without the torque becoming a problem. The plan was by Martin Elmberg, downloaded from the ACES Europe website. |
